San Diego is the second stop in the 2012 ITU World Triathlon Series. This exciting event will feature the world’s top athletes competing head-to-head. ITU World Triathlon San Diego races include: Age Group Sprint-distance, Olympic-distance and Relay Triathlons, and 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Qualifier. All Races will start at Mission Beach and this event is free for spectators.

Race Weekend Schedule:

Friday, May 11
3:00 p.m. – Elite Women’s Race (U.S. Olympic Team Qualifier)

Saturday, May 12
6:30 a.m. – Age Group Olympic-distance Race & Olympic-distance Relay
9:30 a.m. – Age Group Sprint-distance Race
2:30 p.m. – Elite Men’s Race (U.S. Olympic Team Qualifier)
