Great area for campers - but reservations generally required.  Unregistered parkers should seek out the turnouts at the north or south ends of the campground and walk.   The numerous bluffs are tall and steep - look for trails near clusters of cars on the turnouts.  Stay on established trails only since the rising tides can cut you off at the base of the cliffs.   Surfers check out the defined peaks in the area known as Ponto.  Booties or footgear suggested fo cobblestone areas and rough trails.  The campground has a small convenience store as well as restrooms, water, and picnic areas.  Call 760-438-3143 for campground info.
